Rules:
All play will be governed under the USGA Rules of Golf. All tall, native or fescue grass and environmentally sensitive areas that border the boundaries of the golf course will be considered a penalty area. All balls lost in these areas will be played under the observed local rule. Please proceed by determining (in your foursome) where the ball entered the penalty area. Drop your ball nearest point of relief, two club lengths from the penalty area no closer to the hole. This local rule does not apply to hitting it in the woods and not being able to find the ball (i.e. pulled tee shot into the woods on #11). This will be considered a lost ball and you will proceed under stroke and distance. You will go back to the spot where the ball was last hit and play in from there under a 1 stoke penalty. If there is doubt to any rule, please play two balls and alert the tournament committee.
Tie Breakers: In the event of a Tie in any flight, a scorecard playoff will take place starting with #1 handicap hole. If the tie is not broken, the 18th hole will serve as the tie breaker. If the tie is not broken using the 18th, the last three holes will be used and then the last 6 holes and so on.
Prizes:
Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the gross and net winners of each flight.
