ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, cookware, silverware, surfaces, floors in compliance with the state health department code(s) to industry standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.

Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glassware available during service periods. Assist Kitchen as needed in all station areas for stocking of supplies, cleanliness, perform any station break down and post-shift side work. Provide assistance to other kitchen staff by occasionally helping with prep work on side dishes, plating and sandwiches.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certifications: ServSafe (preferred but not required).

Work Experience(s): Dish Washing, cleaning and some Cooking Experience desired.

Availability: Flexible and able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Must have reliable transportation and ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.

Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, walk, and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50lbs without assistance.
