Bob Mueller, Head Golf Professional

Bob came to Old Trail Golf Club with over 30 years of experience in all facets of the golf business, from teaching lessons to golf course operations and management. He graduated from the PGA of America's business school in 2000 before following his career to various golf courses across the country. Bob brings a passion for quality customer service and community to Old Trail. "However, teaching is the number one reason I became a professional, and I pride myself on being able to help improve the skill and abilities of golfers at all levels."

His teaching style involves building upon a student's strengths, minimizing swing flaws, and creating a fun and friendly learning environment, "The number one piece of advice I could give to anyone looking to improve their game is to remember that the golf swing is a combination of connection and positions. When you have a firm grasp of these two aspects, the swing becomes much more natural as it uses your personal attributes to swing the club versus trying to manipulate yourself to fit a certain swing."

Kyro Holland, Head Golf Professional

Kyro "Ky" Holland started his golf career as an attendant at Army Navy Country Club. Working with the golf pros at Army Navy inspired him to pursue a career in the golf industry. Kyro would go on to spend a year and a half at Montclair Country Club as the Assistant Golf Professional, where he oversaw the junior program, before moving on to Lake Ridge. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed making connections with people and teaching the next generation of golfers, "I really enjoy seeing kids' faces light up when they hit a great shot and seeing them and their golf game grow. Enjoying the game is important when it comes to junior golf. I know you can get burnt out quickly at a young age when it comes to sports, so I like to keep lessons fun."
